FAQ
Short answers about the Wigoo MCP server: keys, orders, assistants, bots, currencies and browsers.
Common questions
Yes. It is public, needs no key and no account, and only reads the catalog.
No. The MCP server is public, and the website sells without an account: an email and a payment are enough. The person who receives the eSIM can sign in later with a code sent to that email.
Not yet. Today it searches, compares and quotes, and the purchase happens on getwigoo.com. Orders paid inside the assistant are planned.
Any client that speaks the Model Context Protocol over HTTPS: Claude through its connector directory, where Wigoo is listed, Claude Code, ChatGPT as a custom MCP server, and agents built with an MCP SDK. The server answers both the 2025 and the 2026 versions of the protocol. See the quickstart.
An agent that drives a browser can: it opens the plan link, types the traveler's email, chooses "Continue without the code" and pays, with the person's approval. See checkout without an account.
No. The guest checkout has no CAPTCHA and no bot challenge. It is protected by a rate limit per IP address, and agents that sign their requests with Web Bot Auth are recognized and counted, not blocked.
Prices can be requested in 55 currencies and the buy link comes in eight languages: en, it, es, fr, de, pl, pt and tr. The full list is in the tool reference.
No. A quote is a list price. The server calculates the amount again at checkout, in the traveler's currency, and that is what is charged.
Not from another site: the server sends no CORS headers. Call it from a server, an agent runtime or an MCP client.
The accept header must contain both application/json and text/event-stream. See errors.
Yes. Add .md to any page address to get it as Markdown, or send Accept: text/markdown. /llms.txt lists every page and /llms-full.txt has them all in one file.
