wigoodocs

Quickstart

Connect the Wigoo MCP server to Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT or any MCP client, then make the first call.

The server needs no key and no account, so connecting takes about two minutes. Pick your client, then try a question or a raw request.

Connect a client

Wigoo is listed in Claude's connector directory, so there is no address to paste. This works in Claude on the web, in Claude Desktop and in Cowork.

Open the Wigoo listing, or open Customize, Connectors, Discover and search Wigoo.

Press Connect. There is nothing to sign in to.

In a chat, open the + menu, then Connectors, and switch Wigoo on.

On Team and Enterprise plans an owner may need to allow the connector for the organization first. You can still add the server by hand: Customize, Connectors, Add, Add custom connector, the address https://api.getwigoo.com/api/mcp and No sign in. If you added it that way before, remove the custom one after connecting the listing, so Claude does not see the tools twice.

Ask in plain words

Once connected, ask the way you would ask a friend who knows eSIMs:

  • Find me an eSIM for Japan, 10 days, at least 10 GB. Prices in euros.
  • Italy, France and Spain for three weeks: one regional plan or three country plans?
  • Unlimited data for Thailand for 15 days. How much, and on which network?
  • The link to buy the cheapest plan for Mexico with at least 5 GB.

The assistant chooses the tools by itself. For the last question it calls search_destinations, list_plans and get_quote, and answers with the price and a plan link.

Make the first call by hand

No client is needed to try the server. This request asks for the destinations that match "Japan":

search_destinations
curl https://api.getwigoo.com/api/mcp \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
  -H 'accept: application/json, text/event-stream' \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call",
       "params":{"name":"search_destinations","arguments":{"query":"Japan","currency":"EUR"}}}'

The reply is a single message. The tool's JSON is in result.content[0].text:

Reply, trimmed
{
  "result": {
    "content": [
      {
        "type": "text",
        "text": "{ \"destinations\": [ { \"id\": \"jp\", \"name\": \"Japan\", ... } ], \"more_results\": 0 }"
      }
    ]
  },
  "jsonrpc": "2.0",
  "id": 1
}

The reply can arrive as plain JSON or as a one-message event stream (text/event-stream), depending on the protocol version the client speaks. Always send both values in accept, as above. See the protocol page.
